ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES BIG SERIES 3 DATES FOR 2026 RACING PROGRAMS
MIDDLETOWN, NY (November 24)……..The roar of engines and the thrill of dirt track racing action
return as the historic Orange County Fair Speedway announces the 2026 Big Series 3 schedule. Co-
organizers Brett Hearn and Doug Dugarian are back for another exciting season, promising fans five
unforgettable nights of grassroots racing on the legendary Hard Clay.
The 2026 Big Series 3 kicks off on Sunday, May 3, followed by Sunday, June 7 for the always-
popular Nostalgia Night. Sunday, July 12th brings Mid-Summer Heat, while Sunday, August 9 marks a
milestone —celebrating the 107th year of racing at the famed Speedway. The season concludes on
Sunday, September 13 with the high-stakes Champions Night, where titles and bragging rights are on
the line.
Brett Hearn reflected on the series’ continued success: “We are incredibly grateful that we’ve been
able to create a sustainable series that keeps top-tier racing alive on the Hard Clay. In some ways,
this has become a role model for how local racing can thrive—boasting outstanding car counts,
diverse participation, and unbeatable competition. It’s a series that racers and fans alike can connect

visiting competitors makes for some of the most dramatic and unpredictable racing of the year.”
