The 68th Daytona 500 kicks off another NASCAR Cup season Sunday February 15th, 2026, and for the 34th consecutive year race fans will gather for the annual Long Island Daytona 500 party at The All Star of Riverhead. The OG of all Daytona 500 parties will again offer race fans a bounty of drink and food specials from The All Star menu as well plenty of race pools, raffles and giveaways all afternoon.
Long Island racing personalities Stephen & Tim Halpin will again serve as hosts for the party, an event they started 34-years ago with since retired Bob Finan. “We are looking forward to another great watch party” Stephen proclaimed, adding “despite my relocating to North Carolina over the summer, I wouldn’t miss the 500 party for the world. Timmy & I look forward to seeing everyone to enjoy another Great American Race”. Every TV throughout The All Star pub area will be locked onto the Daytona 500 broadcast on FOX, featuring the huge movie sized wall screen behind the bar.
Connor Halpin, part of the management team of The All Star bowling & family entertainment center recently revealed an expanded offering of drink & food specials for the L.I. Daytona 500 party. Domestic draft beer specials will center around Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Lite & Labatt with $3 16oz and $5 22oz drafts as well $10 domestic pitchers. Also, on tap are import beers on draft, $5 for16oz, $7 for a 22oz and pitchers priced at $18. Buckets of bottle beer (5) can be mixed and matched for $25. High Noon and Surfside buckets (5) are priced at $35.The “Tiger” Tom Baldwin White Russians will again be part of the fun at $7 each, as are the $7 Baldwin Strong Mexican Mules. Fireball and Screwball shots are just $5, with Bloody Mary and Mimosa cocktails just $6. Well drinks start at $6.
Food specials are plentiful featuring Meatball, Pulled Pork or Chicken Parm Sliders (3) for $8. Nachos can be had for $5 or upgrade to loaded nachos for $7, while a traditional Brick Oven Pizza can be enjoyed for $14. Wings can be ordered in increments of 10, 15 0r 20 for 99 cents each, with a crispy Flatbread Pizza yours for $7. Other options include a $4 Chili Cheese Dog, Pub Fries (waffle fries with beer cheese) $5, or upgrade to loaded Pub Fries for $7. A Burger & Pint special will also be in play.
To further spice the afternoon up veteran race spotter and party co-host Tim Halpin will again be running his race pools for the 500, 10 points gets you two picks in the 40-car field. The number you draw will be a starting position 1-40, the driver who starts is those positions is your driver to root for. Each race pool winner earns 200 points. Another popular pool in recent years is the Speedy Motorsports 65″ Flat Screen TV pool, a Super Bowl style box pool that you don’t have to wait until race day to enter! The Speedy Motorsports Flat Screen TV winner need not be present at The All Star, as Stephen Halpin will make arrangements for an out of area winner if need be. Once again two sets of NASCAR Cup garage passes for a race of the winner’s choice at either Pocono, Dover, New Hampshire or Richmond will be up for grabs via another exciting pool.
Festivities will commence at 12:30 PM with Tim Halpin starting the first of many Long Island Daytona 500 Party races pools which will be sold until interest wanes. In the past as many as 10 race day pools have been organized.
