Good morning race fans, we hope you are staying warm wherever you are. So many of our friends have made their way south for Speed Weeks and next week the Daytona 500.

Last night was opening night of the World Series of Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. Congratulations to Gabe Summers winning the David Rogers Super Late Model 60 lap feature and Cole Robie winner of the Pro Late Model 60 lap feature.

Tonight, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour takes center stage at New Smyrna Speedway.

A solid field of 37 Modifieds have entered tonight’s New Smyrna Area Visitors Bureau 200.

Patrick Emerling started off last season with a solid performance coming from 10th place to score the victory, he should be a strong contender to go back-to-back. Patrick was in the hunt for the 2025 Championship until a 17th place finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway dropped him back in the standings.

2025 NASCAR WMT Champion Austin Beers will look to back up his first championship with an opening night win. Austin has run strong at New Smyrna with three top tens and an 11th in the four races run.

Justin Bonsignore, Kyle Bonsignore, Ron Silk, Jon McKennedy, Cookout Clash winner Ryan Preece, Matt Hirschman, Eric Goodale, Tyler Rypkemia, Luke Baldwin and a host of others will look to start their season in victory lane.
