Baldwin To Wheel Tommy Baldwin Racing 7NY For 14-Race Calendar
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Jack Baldwin and Tommy Baldwin Racing announced today that Jack will compete full-time on the SMART Modified Tour with sponsorship from Stoke Shoes.
Stoke Shoes was built to fix issues that many men face – they are wearing shoes that are too narrow, with 75% of men having wide feet, but only 25% wearing wide shoes. This means squished toes, collapsed arches and shot posture. Stoke Shoes come in two widths: Wide and Wider. They match your foot anatomy and are designed for your full foot, not just length, but also width, girth and foot splay.
“I’m extremely grateful to announce a partnership with Stoke Shoes,” Jack Baldwin said. “About a month ago, our plans were still up in the air, and we were looking at running a limited schedule. Stoke Shoes stepped up in a huge way, believed in what we’re building, and made it possible for us to chase the full season. One thing that makes this partnership special is how much it connects with the people who make short track racing what it is – the working men and women in the grandstands and pits. Stoke Shoes builds shoes for the fans who are on their feet all day at work and then standing at the fence all night at the track, and I can honestly say they are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn.”
Stoke Shoes and LRT Motorsports based in Mooresville, North Carolina, are super stoked to announce their season long sponsorship of Tommy Baldwin Racing’s No. 7NY with Jack Baldwin behind the wheel.
“Our shoes have a direct appeal to race fans, and those who work all day on their feet, as our Power Stack technology offers unparalleled comfort while catering to men with wider feet, a/k/a “big ball girth”, explained Rick Blackshaw, Chief Stoke Officer. “What we liked most about TBR was its winning pedigree from Tommy Baldwin Jr’s 2002 Daytona 500 win as crew chief for Ward Burton’s #22 car, to Baldwin’s sons Jack and Luke, who are proven winners on the track. Stock car racing is a tough demanding sport, whether you’re in the pits, on the track or in the garage, our shoes are made for the men that make it all happen – just like the tools they use. Everyone at Stoke Shoes is excited for this race season, and believe in Jack Baldwin’s ability on and off the track. We look forward to him having a winning year, and being a great ambassador for Stoke Shoes.”
Jack finished sixth in the 2025 SMART Modified Tour championship standings on the heels of eight top-10 finishes in 13 starts.
The SMART Modified Tour schedule includes 14 events and 13 different tracks. The season begins at Florence Motor Speedway next Saturday, February 28.
