BROOKFIELD, NY – Combining a storied past with a bright future.
Brookfield Speedway, the historic quarter-mile oval located on the Madison County Fairgrounds, has set its 2026 schedule of events, again hosting once-per-month special events from May through October.
The action gets underway on Sunday, May 24 with the ‘Fast Cars & Freedom’ featuring the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Sportsman racing 25 laps for $1,500 to win plus the Hustle the Highway 600 Modified Series, Pro Stocks, Slingshots (Allstar and Juniors), Four Cylinders and a 50-lap Enduro. This event carries a rain date of Monday, May 25.
Prior to the start of racing on May 24, top performers from the ’25 season will be recognized in an awards ceremony.
The Speedway Entertainment Slingshot weekend makes its Brookfield Speedway debut on Sunday, June 14 joined by the Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Four Cylinders.
With the bright lights of the Madison County Fair shining in the background, the annual Madison County Fair Race is set for Thursday, July 30 with Sportsman, Pro Stocks, Slingshots and Four Cylinders on the card.
Following a hugely popular debut last year, the ground-pounding Modifieds return to Chase the Golden Beaver on Sunday, Aug. 16. The ‘Modifieds in Madison County’ are joined by Sportsman, Slingshots, Four Cylinders and a Four Cylinder Enduro. Pro Stocks are off for this event.
A September Showdown is set for Saturday, Sept. 12 with the Hustle the Highway Series 600 Modifieds and Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Series adding to a lineup of Sportsman, Pro Stocks, Slingshots and Four Cylinders.
The final ’26 event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 3 with Championship Night for the Sportsman, Pro Stocks, Four Cylinders and Slingshots plus the final 50-lap Enduro of the season.
A new website has been unveiled at www.brookfieldspeedway.com and the speedway will utilize My Race Pass for scoring, lineups and points in the ’26 season.
