BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – This Saturday night will be a race fans delight, when Grandview Speedway presents TWO – T.P. Trailer Modified features in the same night!

The race program this Saturday, May 25 will be featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman participating in a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event that will see qualifying events for both divisions leading into the 30-lap Modified main event and a 25-lap Sportsman feature race.

The 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature held-over from the May 11 program will be added to this show along with the first visit of the year for the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars.

The held-over 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature will be the first Modified event during the program, so fans need to arrive early so as not to miss any of the double-feature race action.

All of this action will be conducted for the regular admission prices, with adult grandstand admission at $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 4:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:30 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 6:30 pm.

Grandview Speedway now into the 62nd season of operation, is fast approaching a track milestone when the 1300th Saturday night T.P. Trailer Modified feature will be presented. To date there have been 1297 features recorded, with two more scheduled for this Saturday.

The all-time win leader is Craig Von Dohren, followed by Duane Howard, Jeff Strunk, Rick Schaffer, and Fred Rahmer making up the top five spots. Ray Swinehart, Doug Manmiller, and defending Champion Brett Kressley are also included in the top fifteen spots, with Kressley one win away from reaching a top ten position.

Currently there have been three different winners this season with Mike Mahaney, Brett Kressley, and Louden Reimert scoring the victories. The leading winner unfortunately is the weather, having claimed three programs so far during the 2024 campaign.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division is also closing in on a milestone as well, with the 250th feature to be presented in the coming weeks. Currently there have been 248 features recorded with Logan Watt, Gavyn Krupp and Colton Perry picking up wins this year.

The top five on the all-time T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman winner’s list are all current Modified drivers with Brian Hirthler, Jared Umbenhauer, Brett Kressley, Brad Brightbill, and Craig Whitmoyer topping the list.

This Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted once again by Whippy and Jennifer Umbenhauer. The drivers scheduled to participate include Modified driver and defending Track Champion Brett Kressley, along with Sportsman drivers TJ Mayberry and Zane Roth.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 4-5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.

Grandview Speedway will close out the month of May with the first Thunder on the Hill Racing Series program of the year, as Levan Machine & Truck Equipment presents the RichMar Florist Midweek Money Series Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Cars on Tuesday, May 28 starting at 7:30 pm with a rain date of Wednesday, May 29.

The program will feature the Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Car drivers participating in time trials and qualifying races leading into the 35-lap $20,000 to win feature race.
