FONDA, NY – Early season, big excitement.
Fonda Speedway roars into its milestone 75th anniversary season with a busy pre- and early season for 2026.
ViaPort Rotterdam serves as the backdrop for the annual Fonda Speedway Race Car Show Friday-Sunday March 20-22 during mall hours. Schedules will be available in addition to hot-off-the-press 75th anniversary apparel from Bob Hilbert Sportswear.
Season passes for both the grandstand and pit areas will be on sale. Competitors can take advantage of the Five-for-Four Pit Pass Special – purchase four pit passes, get the fifth one free ($650 value). This special will only be available through the completion of the show.
Drivers will be available for autographs during the show among numerous activities and giveaways.

Following the completion of the ‘Chill Factor’ Enduro on Jan. 1, the track has been silent. That changes on April 11 with the Open Practice.
All divisions are welcome for the pre-season test and tune session with gates opening at 1 p.m. and on-track activity set for 3-6 p.m.
A ‘12A Opening Day’ honoring the late Jumpin’ Jack Johnson is set for April 18. Points begin for all classes. Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds race 32 laps with a $4,012 top prize. Also on the card: Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman (25 laps, $1,212 to win), Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks (20 laps, $812 to win), Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
Gates open at 2 p.m. Hot laps are set for 5 p.m., with racing at 6 p.m.

The Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing for 75 seasons. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
