FCP Euro signs as title sponsor for the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix set for September 23-25, 2027

LAKEVILLE, Conn. (19 March 2026) — IMSA will return to Lime Rock Park September 23–25, 2027.

The event will mark the beginning of a multi-year agreement between Lime Rock Park, IMSA and FCP Euro, bringing the premier North American sports car racing organization back to the legendary Connecticut circuit.

FCP Euro will continue as the entitlement sponsor, with the race officially named the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix.

The 2027 FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix will feature two of IMSA’s highly competitive championships, the Michelin Pilot Challenge and the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, with additional support series to be announced at a later date.

IMSA will join the already robust Lime Rock Park event calendar, setting the stage for a historic 2027 season at The Park.

“IMSA racing has always produced incredible competition here and we know our fans are excited to welcome back the teams and drivers for the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix,” said Dicky Riegel, President and CEO of Lime Rock Park. “IMSA’s return marks a significant milestone for Lime Rock Park. Our team has put a tremendous amount of effort into working collaboratively with the local community to responsibly expand racing activities to select Thursdays during the season. The new charter creates the opportunity for major series like IMSA to once again include Lime Rock Park on their schedules.

“We are also thrilled to have FCP Euro back as the entitlement sponsor,” continued Riegel. “Over the years, FCP Euro has become an integral part of the Lime Rock Park community. Their passion for motorsports and commitment to our fanbase, makes this partnership a natural fit for this event.”

IMSA’s return to Lime Rock Park continues a legacy that stretches back to 1972, when the track first hosted the Camel 200 during the early years of the series’ GT championship. The inaugural race was won by Bob Bailey and Jim Locke in a Porsche 911S after completing 131 laps of the 1.5-mile circuit. The 2027 season will mark the 55th year of IMSA competition at Lime Rock Park, underscoring the circuit’s long-standing role in American sports car racing.

“Race fans in the Northeast are among the most passionate anywhere and we are delighted to return to Lime Rock Park next September with the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge,” said IMSA President John Doonan. “The early fall is a special time of year at Lime Rock and we know it will provide a breathtaking backdrop and ultra-competitive racing as competitors in both series will battle it out with championships on the line. We are grateful to Dicky Riegel and his team for working with us to bring our brand of sports car racing back to the rabid fans at Lime Rock in 2027.”

FCP Euro’s footprint stretches far beyond this event. Family-owned since 1986, FCP Euro is the trusted home for European car owners and professionals, delivering quality parts, expert guidance and a leading Lifetime Replacement Guarantee.

The online Connecticut retailer hosts the popular FCP Euro Sunday Motoring Meet series at Lime Rock Park and across the United States, bringing together thousands of car owners and fans to celebrate automotive culture free of charge. The company is also the presenting partner of the FCP Euro Proving Grounds autocross and karting track, helping make Lime Rock Park one of the most important gathering places for car enthusiasts in the Northeast.

“Beyond helping European car owners maintain their vehicles with quality parts and expert guidance, the enjoyment of car ownership has always been central to FCP Euro,” said Kyle Bento, VP of Marketing at FCP Euro. “From gatherings like FCP Euro’s Sunday Motoring Meet to the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix, we’re proud to work with Lime Rock Park and IMSA to bring enthusiasts together over a shared love of cars.”

Additional details about support races, ticketing and weekend activities will be announced at a later date
