BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The tradition continues!

Continuing a partnership that began in 1992, the one-third-of-a-mile high-banked Grandview Speedway, owned and operated by the founding Rogers Family will once again be part of NASCAR for the upcoming 2026 racing season.

Along with tradition also comes something new for the 2026 racing season, as there will be a new sponsor and name for weekly racing under the NASCAR umbrella, as O’Reilly Auto Parts has been named the exclusive entitlement partner of the NASCAR Local Racing Series, which will now be known as the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Formerly known as the NASCAR Weekly Series, the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts places renewed emphasis on the competitive, community-driven racing that serves as the foundation of the sport. The updated identity simplifies how grassroots racing is presented to fans, partners, and communities, while reinforcing NASCAR’s long-standing commitment to local competitors and hometown tracks.

Being sanctioned under the NASCAR umbrella, the 2026 race season will be the 35th consecutive year that Grandview Speedway participants will be enjoying the benefits of being NASCAR Local Racing Series members. Benefits include racing for the NASCAR point fund money which is available for the National, Regional, State and Track championships, as well as the great insurance coverage provided by NASCAR.

For the 2025 season, Grandview Speedway NASCAR Modified Track Champion Duane Howard of Oley, Pa. picked up $10,000 from Grandview Speedway in championship point fund money, but also received $3500 from NASCAR for winning the Track championship, and finished sixth in the NASCAR Northeast Region standings.

First year NASCAR Modified driver Logan Watt of Boyertown, Pa. was the Northeast Region and Pennsylvania State Rookie of the year in 2025, and also finished sixth in the National standings for NASCAR Division I rookie drivers.

For the Sportsman class which runs under NASCAR Division II, Grandview track champion Colin Cox of Perkasie, Pa. finished third in the Northeast Region standings, while finishing tenth in the National rankings.

As has always been the case, all participating drivers at Grandview Speedway must have a NASCAR license to be able to race and collect point fund money, with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified drivers listed as Division I, and the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman drivers competing under Division II.

Grandview Speedway management does encourage everyone to purchase a NASCAR license to enter the pit area for the outstanding extra insurance coverage thru NASCAR, however you will be allowed to enter the pit area as a non-member for an increased admission. Those holding a NASCAR license will receive the extra insurance coverage and enter the pits at a discount at all sanctioned events. Car Owners and crew members can purchase their memberships the same as they have in the past if they desire the same coverage.

Grandview Speedway track officials are also reminded that as in past seasons, they are still required to purchase their NASCAR memberships as well.

Everyone can now apply for their NASCAR membership license at this time, and avoid the lines on Opening Day by applying online at https://www.nascarmembers.com/. If anyone has any difficulty purchasing their license please email: weekly@nascar.com.
