Belmar NJ March 9th 2026: This is part of the new management team’s continued effort to support racers and strengthen competition at Wall Stadium.

Why the Move to American Racer Tires?

As we prepare for the 2026 season at Wall Stadium, one of our main priorities is making racing more affordable and competitive for our teams. The switch to American Racer tires helps move us in that direction.

Here’s what racers can expect:

Lower Cost:

American Racer tires come in at a more affordable price point, helping reduce weekly racing expenses — especially important for teams competing on tight budgets.

Longer Lasting Tires:

These tires are known for their durability, meaning teams may get more life out of each tire, reducing how often they need to purchase new ones.

Modified Division:

Modified teams will still have the 3-tire bank rule, but with the durability of the American Racers, teams may find they can remain competitive even using just two tires from their bank.

Sportsman / 602 Division:

The Sportsman tire will be a softer compound, designed to provide better grip and performance for the division.

Factory Stock Division:

Factory Stock competitors will find the American Racer tire to be very similar to the Hoosier tire they’ve been using, keeping the feel and competition level consistent.

At the end of the day, this move is about helping racers control costs while keeping the racing at Wall Stadium strong and competitive.
