WEEK NUMBER TWO IN THE NASCAR LOCAL RACING SERIES PRESENTED BY O’REILLY AUTO PARTS CHAMPIONSHIP CHASE
2025 SEASON SAW MORE THAN A DOZEN DIFFERENT FEATURE WINNERS IN BOTH DIVISIONS, WILL TREND CONTINUE INTO THE NEW SEASON
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway is ready to present the second racing event for the brand new 2026 season.
This Saturday, April 11 will see a two-division program of racing under the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts banner for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman. Each division will run qualifying races leading to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman main events.Race time on Saturday night is 6 pm. Pit gates open at 3 pm, grandstand gates open at 4 pm, followed by warm-ups at 5 pm.
Grandstand admission for adults is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members, and $45 for non-members.
In addition to racing, this Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the start of the weekly meet and greets, now under the name of the Low Down Entertainment Meet & Greet hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer. The drivers scheduled to participate this week include the father and son duo of Rick & Matthew Laubach.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.
Also included in this week’s event will be crayons and coloring pages for the kids, as well as Little Miss Grandview on hand to greet everyone as well!
Following last Saturday night’s season opening VP Racing Fuels Bruce Rogers Memorial for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds, Louden Reimert sits on top of the championship standings after the first night of competition, and became the year’s first feature event winner.
Taking a look back, the entire 2025 season of T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified racing was competitive from beginning to end, as thirteen different drivers reached victory lane. It was so competitive that no driver was able to win more than twice, with Jeff Strunk, Logan Watt, Ryan Watt and Freedom 76 winner Eddie Strada all scoring two victories.
Single feature winners included Brian Hirthler, Brett Kressley, Chris Esposito, John Willman, Duane Howard, Jon Kellner, Justin Grim, Tim Buckwalter, and Jared Umbenhauer. Of the many different winners, Logan Watt, Eddie Strada and Justin Grim were able to get their first ever Grandview feature wins.
The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman saw 2019 Track Champion Brad Brightbill score the feature win last Saturday to sit in the number one spot in the point standings, while also becoming the division’s first winner this year.
Looking back to last season, twelve different drivers visited the winner’s circle in the T.P. Trailers & Truck equipment Sportsman division led by Addison Meitzler who scored three wins. Colin Cox, Jesse Landis and Joey Vaccaro each scored two wins, while Lawson Szerencits, Ryan Graver, Shannon Slaughter, Brett Gilmore, Kenny Gilmore, Parker Guldin, Dylan Swinehart and Mike Loney all scored one win each.
Of the twelve drivers reaching the win circle, Cox, Vaccaro, Szerencits, Slaughter, and Loney were all winners for the first time in their career at Grandview.
With one race in the books for 2026, all those drivers listed along with the top point finishers from last year, as well as the top finishers from last Saturday will all be looking to reach victory lane this weekend.
Upcoming race action will include Friday, April 17, as the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage cars will be in action joined by the Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinders and the Xcel 600 Modifieds starting at 7 pm. Pit gates will be opening at 2 pm, and grandstand gates open at 5 pm. Grandstand admission is $10, children ages 12 and under are admitted free, while pit admission is $35.
On Saturday, April 18 it will be another two-division program under the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts banner, as the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman will be competing in a program that will consist of qualifying races leading up to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman main events.
Anticipation is starting to build for another exciting event coming to Grandview Speedway in the month of May, as the Kyle Larson/Brad Sweet Interstate Batteries High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series will be in town on Tuesday, May 19 starting at 7:30 pm with a rain date of Wednesday, May 20.

On Tuesday, May 19, gates will open at 4:30 pm for Advance ticket holders, with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 pm at the main entrance. Following opening ceremonies, heat race qualifying will take the green flag at 7:35 pm.
