HIGH LIMIT 410 SPRINTS NEXT TUESDAY MAY 19 – MODIFIED TWIN 25’s MAY 30

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway returns to action with a NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts racing program this Saturday night.

The racing program this Saturday, May 16 will feature the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds along with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, with both divisions participating in qualifying races leading up to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman feature events.

Start time on Saturday will be 6:30 pm, with pit gates opening at 3:30 pm, grandstand gates opening at 4:30 pm, and warm-ups starting at 5:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

In addition, this Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly meet and greet, presented by Low Down Entertainment and hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer. This week’s drivers who will be on hand with their cars to greet the fans will be the father and son team of Kenny and Brett Gilmore.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 4 to 5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway. Also included in the Meet & Greet will be Little Miss Grandview with crayons and coloring pages for the kids!

Competition has been tough so far during the new season for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds, with no repeat winners at this point in the new campaign.  Louden Reimert, Jared Umbnhauer, Duane Howard, and Ryan Watt have all been winners thus far, and will be joined  by top point contenders Eddie Strada, Rick Laubach, Brett Kressley, Jeff Strunk, Logan Watt, Mike Gular, Craig Von Dohren, Tim Buckwalter, Anthony Perrego, Brandon & Justin Grosso who will all be looking to reach victory lane this Saturday night.

The same can be said for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division which has yet to have a repeat feature winner. Brad Brightbill won on Opening Night, with Bryce Bashore, Mike Toth and Mark Mohr all reaching the winner’s circle this season.

Those four drivers will be joined by top point drivers Colin Cox, Jimmy Leiby, Joe Toth, Matthew Laubach, Adrianna Delliponti, Gavyn Krupp, Ebby Ridge, Addison Meitzler, Brett & Kenny Gilmore, TJ Mayberry, Brayden Shelton, Mark Mohr, Brett Grim, and Decker Swinehart.

Competition will be intense again this Saturday night, as over three dozen drivers will be battling in each division to reach victory lane!

With the rain out last Saturday night, the TWIN 25-lap feature program for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds has now been scheduled for Saturday, May 30, which will include the full slate of qualifying races plus a full show for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman starting at 7:30 pm.

The first Thunder on the Hill Racing Series event is set to take place next Tuesday, May 19 (rain date May 20), featuring the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Roto-Rooter Midweek 410 Sprint Series at Grandview Speedway, presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and RICH MAR Florist.

The list of talented drivers is impressive with expected entries to include Ryan Timms, Tyler Courtney, Kyle Larson, Tanner Thorson, Aaron Reutzel, Brent Marks, Kasey Kahne and defending High Limit Champion Rico Abreu, along with local PA Posse talent on hand in chase of the $20,000 first place prize. In addition, Alpine Building Supply has added a $2,000 bonus if a PA driver tops the High Limit stars to win the 35-lap Hodnett Cup. 

Advanced tickets for the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Roto-Rooter Midweek 410 Sprint Series race event on May 19 can be ordered now at HIGHLIMITRACING.COM.  

On Tuesday, May 19, advance ticket holders will enter the grandstand area in turn one at 4:30 pm, with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 pm at the main entrance.   Following opening ceremonies, heat race qualifying will take the green flag at 7:35 pm.  

Coming up on Saturday, May 23 will be Checkered Flag Fan Club Night featuring another double-header program of NASCAR racing with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds & Sportsman in action joined by the Outlaw Racing Series vintage cars, plus it will be TRIVIA night starting at 7:30 pm.

Since the 1960’s, Grandview Speedway has been presenting exciting wheel to wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday Night starting in April and running through October, plus special events.
