BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – With the calendar turning to July, and the weather getting hotter and hotter, so is the schedule of planned racing events for the month at Grandview Speedway!

Just before the calendar turns, Grandview will host a Thunder on the Hill Racing Series event on Tuesday, June 30 with a visit by the powerful 410 Sprint Cars of the Pennsylvania Posse in the 36th running of PA Sprint Car Speed Week. The Speed Week event at Grandview is titled the Hodnett Cup and salutes the late driver Greg Hodnett who is one of the all-time winningest 410 Sprint drivers in Grandview history, with nine career 410 Sprint Car wins. The program will include time trials and qualifying events leading up to the 35-lap 410 Sprint Car main event which pays the winner a healthy $10,000!

The Tuesday night show will also include the 358 Modifieds in a NASCAR point event which includes qualifying races and a 30-lap $3000 to win main event. Alpine Building Supply has once again posted a first time Thunder Series winner’s bonus of $2000, making for a possible $5000 payday for the 358 Modified feature event!

In addition to the racing action on Tuesday night, prior to the racing program, will be the Low Down Entertainment Meet and Greet. The drivers who will be on hand are Anthony Macri & crew chief Joe Mooney, Chase Dietz, Tim & Aiden Buckwalter, along with Colin Cox.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the grandstand main gate area from 5 to 6 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers in person, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway. Also included in the Meet & Greet will be Little Miss Grandview Alaina Steigerwalt.

Advance ticket holders will be able to enter the grandstands starting at 4:30 pm, with general admission tickets going on sale and grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, with race time set for 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission will be $30, children 6-11 are $10, while kids 5 and under will be admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $45 and a license is not required.

The big Speed Week event will be followed by another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts program on Independence Day Saturday, July 4 featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds and Sportsman in a two-division program that will include qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, along with the Low Down Throw Down one-on-one Match Races for the Modifieds.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman will be in the spotlight on Saturday, July 11 with the 56th annual running of the Firecracker 40-lap Championship race. The program will include all of the qualifying races, a Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate $500 cash dash, and a full show for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds starting at 7:30 pm.

The following week on Saturday, July 18 racing will be sponsored by T.P.
