— Nick Robinson also take home another Win —

TIOGA CENTER, N.Y. (August 24, 2026) — On Saturday evening the Race of Champions Sportsman Modifieds, the FOAR Score Dash Series, and Shangri-La’s very own Hobby Stocks took to the half-mile concrete oval.

The 35-lap main event featuring the Sportsman saw Andrew Lewis, Jr. of Ontario, NY on the pole.  And that is where he would stay for the duration of the race.

Off the line, Lewis kept ahead, but Andy Jankowiak of Tonawanda, NYi was right there, just waiting for Lewis to slip up, make a mistake to sneak into the lead.

Both stayed like that until a caution came out for Dave Kozlowski of Kenmore, NY. On the ensuing restart Jankowiak slid up the track and the field snuck by.

Lewis, Jr was able to keep his lead.

He out distanced Chris Finnochario of Macedon, NY and Evan Rygielski of Wilkes-Barre, PA at the checkered.

“[It feels] great [to win],” said Lewis, Jr. “I enjoy the speed of this track and I was trying to pace myself. You have to maintain your line here. It’s very precision.”

Rounding out the top five were

●      Daryl Lewis, Jr — Ontario, NY

●      Kevin Timmerman – Ontario, NY

Other winners for the night included:

FOAR Score Dash Series: Nick Robinson — Waverly, NY

Hobby Stocks: Nick Robinson – Waverly, NY
