Mountain Creek Speedway will kick off the 2023 season of racing with the “Opening Bell” Weekend presented by Bell Helmets Pro Shop. Bell Helmets Pro Shop of Mooresville has been a longtime sponsor of the Bell Helmet Pro Shop Restart Zone at Mountain Creek. Mountain Creek Speedway is expecting their most exciting season to date with the introduction of 600, 270/600 restricted micro sprints for the foreseeable future.

We’ve worked with them in the past on ideas to create an interest in Mountain Creek Speedway and it’s worked out pretty well. Besides sponsoring race weekends at the track, the Bell Helmets Pro Shop is also an annual sponsor of the Bell Helmets Pro Shop championship award. Three winners are randomly drawn across all class champions to win a brand-new Bell helmet to begin the new racing season. “Opening Bell” Weekend starts Saturday, April 1st. with traditional Saturday night flat kart racing. Sunday, April 2nd will be the big day for Mountain Creek Speedway as it host’s outlaw karts and 600 micro sprint racing for the very first time in the track’s forty-three-year history.
When the track isn’t racing, it’s busy Monday through Friday with testing and practice sessions for everything from flat karts to national midgets. The track will also be available for testing and practice days throughout the year.
