Purses Growing/Opens Return for Chad Bush Clash

CTM Custom cabinets located in Concord, North Carolina in conjunction with Mountain Creek Speedway announced today, an increase in purse money for five divisions and the return of the 500cc Open division in the third annual Chad Bush Clash November, 18th and 19th. CTM Custom Cabinets has put up $1000 to win the 600 Micro Sprint main event, $300 to win the Box Stock division, $200 to win the Beginner Box Stock division and $100 to the cadet feature winner. 

The event will also see the welcomed return of the 500cc Open division which will race for $500 to win. The two day weekend has come to be known as the signature event for the “Cage at the Creek.” This will be the third installment of this charity race to benefit the Cabarrus Healthcare Foundation. Chad Bush, the winner of the inaugural Chad Bush Clash was a former driver and fabricator who started the mini modified division at Mountain Creek Speedway and won the track championship before passing from Cancer in May of 2022. Since then, the race has been run in his honor.  

“It’s very exciting for the track and the entire event” said speedway owner and promoter Adam Stewart. “Along with $1000 to win for the micros, it’s going to be exciting to see the open division return. They have always raced well and put on one of the best shows at our track.” The two day event will see upwards of seventeen divisions of racing take to the speedway. Businesses are also joining in with smaller sponsorships of each division racing in the Chad Bush Clash.

The third annual Chad Bush clash begins Saturday, November 18th with flat kart and mini modified racing and concludes Sunday, November, 19th with outlaw kart and micro sprint racing on the 1/6 mile “Cage at the Creek.” Both days of racing will be streamed live on www.mountaincreekspeedway.tv and Dirt2 Media.
