Holland, NY – (August 26, 2024) – Andy Jankowiak of Tonawanda, NY, drove to another victory in the George Decker Memorial for the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series this past Saturday night during the Busch Light 100 presented by Try-It Distributing at Holland (NY) Speedway this past Saturday.

Jankowiak started 10th and drove his way to the front topping Jake Vernon from Eden, NY and Kevin Timmerman from Ontario, NY.

“We had a good car, l love Holland, it’s one of our home tracks,” smiled Jankowiak from victory lane. “I can’t thank Holland and the Decker family enough for putting this event on. It was a great night for stock car racing in Western New York. I also have to thank everyone that helps us make this happen, our sponsors, our crew, family and friends. They never get enough credit.”

Jankowiak posted the fastest time in the final practice. Jankowiak, Timmerman and Mike Fiebelkorn of Hamburg, NY, won the qualifying races.

Jeff Brown of Hamburg, NY, won the Rick Wylie Classic for the Race of Champions Late Model Series. Brown started 9th and took the lead late in the race to win one of the biggest races of his career.

Brown held off Dave Heitzhaus of Strykersville, NY, the defending Series champion and Sam Fullone of North Collins, NY.

Eldon King, III, of Freedom, NY, posted the fastest time in the final practice. King and Scott Wylie of Blasdell, NY split the qualifying race victories.

Joe Mancuso of Buffalo, NY, won the Race of Champions Super Stock Series event in his Mancuso Motorsports machine prepared by Phil Mancuso. Mancuso started 3rd and topped Jake Wylie of Derby, NY, and Eric Brown of Colden, NY.

Trisha Connolly of Walnutport, PA, scored her second Race of Champions FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series victory this past Saturday at Holland. Nick Robinson of Waverly, NY, finished second with Corey Edelman of Walnutport, PA, finishing third.

James Michael Friesen of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario-Canada captured the final Pete Cosco Memorial at Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario, this past Sunday. Friesen topped Cody McPherson of Saint Catherines, Ontario and Jacob Chevalier of Port Colborne, Ontario.

McPherson posted the fastest time in green-white-checker qualifying. McPherson, Friesen and Andrew Smith of Lockport, NY won the qualifying races.
