With heavy rain at Lebanon Valley Speedway and weather models predicting more Saturday night into Sunday, Super DIRTcar Series and track officials have agreed to cancel Mr. DIRT Track USA.

Fans who bought a ticket or pit pass are asked to hold on to their tickets for further instruction from Lebanon Valley Speedway.

The Series now turns its attention to a September tripleheader with visits to Brockville Ontario Speedway (Sept. 5), Can-Am Speedway (Sept. 6), and Weedsport Speedway (Sept. 7).

Weedsport’s event is part of Cavalcade Weekend, with a $15,000 prize on the line and a guaranteed starting spot at Super DIRT Week 52.

Ten-time defending Super DIRTcar Series champion Matt Sheppard leads Mat Williamson by 34 points entering Brockville’s Canadian Classic.

Not only is Sheppard chasing an 11th title, but he’s also chasing 100 Series victories. He’ll reach the century mark with a sweep next weekend, becoming the second driver in Series history to accomplish that feat.

They’ll be joined by a stout field of Super DIRTcar Series full-time drivers, including Jimmy Phelps and Anthony Perrego, who’ve reached Victory Lane this year.

If you can’t make it to the track, watch all the action live on DIRTVision, either online or with the DIRTVision app.
