BETHEL, NY – Run What You Brung.

An event that was an annual highlight of the Bethel Motor Speedway schedule in past years returns in 2024 on Sunday, October 20.

BD Motorsports Media LLC presents the event at the quarter-mile paved oval on Sunday, October 20. The unique afternoon program features three divisions with a quick-hitting format.

Mobile Metals serves as a presenting sponsor of the event.

The “Run What You Brung” is open to all race cars with a minimum wheelbase of 85 inches. All entries must pass pre-race safety tech.

Competitors will draw for 8-lap heat races, setting the stage for 8-lap consolations and a 50-lap feature paying $2,500 to win and $200 to start.

Street Stocks and Four Cylinders complete the program.

Street Stock competitors can bring their home-track rule book for a 25-lap, $1,000 to win event. Heat lineups will be set up by a draw.

Four Cylinders compete under SCDRA Northeast rules for a 25-lap, $500 to win event. Heat lineups will be set up by a draw.

Twenty cars will start each of the feature events.

Gates will open at noon. Hot laps take place at 1:30 p.m., with racing at 2 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $20. Kids 11 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $45 (ages 15 and up) and $20 for Children ages 14 and under.

Car registration fees are as follows: $50 (Run What You Brung) and $20 (Street Stocks and Four Cylinders).  Registrations should be paid the day of the event at the track.
