NEW EGYPT, NJ – Just Getting Started.
The 2025 New Egypt Speedway season is set for new beginnings and major returns at the Central Jersey D-shaped oval.
The 7/16-mile oval hosts the likes of the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, the Super DIRTcar Series, and the Short Track Super Series with a jam-packed season spanning from March to October.
“It’s a long way away but we’re excited for the new year,” Executive VP of Operations Chris Moore stated. “It will be here before we all know it.”
One thing I do know is we’re going to race,” he continued. “We have a full schedule. We gave divisions nights off strategically, but if Mother Nature is kind, the gates are going to be open on Saturdays at New Egypt.”
THE BIG ONES
- ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ returns to New Egypt Speedway for the first time since 2017 when the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars invade New Jersey on Friday, October 10.
- The Super DIRTcar Series returns for the second consecutive year to open the new season on Saturday, March 29.
- The Short Track Super Series rolls into town during the midseason on Tuesday, June 24.
THE RETURNING FAVORITES
- The 2025 ‘All-Star Cup’ will take place Fri.-Sat., September 26-27 culminating in a 50-lap, $6,000-to-win main event for the Modifieds, their final event of the season at New Egypt.
- Saturday, July 19 features the return of two crowd favorites, as the annual Mr. Crate Classic will take place for the 602 Sportsman. Additionally, the URC Sprint Cars join the Saturday night card in their return to the friendly confines of New Egypt.
- Saturday, August 9 features another return of a local sprint car series, as the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars make their return to the D-shaped oval.
- Katy’s Race returns as the speedway remembers Katy Mancini with a Saturday night special for the Modifieds on Saturday, August 16.
NEW ON THE DOCKET
- Saturday, May 17 features the first ever SCDRA Four Cylinders event, dawning as ‘Fan Appreciation Night.’ All grandstand admission will be just $10.
- One month later, on Saturday, June 28, New Egypt honors its greatest Street Stock driver with the ‘Bill Liedtka Memorial.’ The Street Stocks will go for 31-laps and a $1,310 top prize.
- The season will conclude on Fri.-Sat., Oct. 24-25 with a showdown for the 602 Sportsman. The weekend builds to a 50-lap, $4,000-to-win main event for the Sportsman.
“We believe our schedule has something for everyone, and will be beneficial to everybody,” Moore proclaimed. “There’s more news on the horizon we’re really looking forward to.”
