Attendees contributed to more than $25,000 being raised for the New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities and 668.95 pounds of food being collected for the Loudon Food Pantry during the 14th annual Gift of Lights presented by Ambetter from NH Healthy Families at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
LOUDON, N.H. – One of the driving forces behind the annual Gift of Lights event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) is the opportunities attendees have to give back to the community. The New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCCNH) and the Loudon Food Pantry each benefitted from the generosity of those who attended Gift of Lights presented by Ambetter from NH Healthy Families during the holiday season.
This year, more than $25,000 was raised for SCCNH from event admissions and s’more kit sales. Since 2011, more than $476,000 has been raised for SCCNH from Gift of Lights fundraisers.
Event attendees donated 668.95 pounds of food for the Loudon Food Pantry, which will provide 557 meals for local families this winter. Since 2011, more than 105,000 pounds of food has been donated through Gift of Lights providing more than 98,000 meals.

2.5 miles of displays scattered throughout the NHMS property created the route for attendees to drive.
3 RGB tunnels dazzled passengers in each vehicle.
30 scenes of holiday light displays were spread throughout NHMS property.
38 nights of holiday cheer were enjoyed by local families.
130-foot infield tunnels were upgraded with RGB lights.
175 gallons of propane fueled two open fire pits and two patio heaters.
361 displays were set up throughout the Gift of Lights route.
572 letters were written and mailed to Santa Claus.
More than 1,300 s’mores were roasted over open fire pits.
1,366 participants ran or walked in the Yule Light Up the Night event.
10,692 vehicles drove through Gift of Lights presented by Ambetter from NH Healthy Families.
500,000 more lights were added to this year’s light displays.
Nearly four million LED lights lit up the NHMS property from Thanksgiving to Jan. 5.
