(Stafford Springs, CT)—Interested in becoming a lap sponsor for the 53rd running of the NAPA Spring Sizzler® with a chance to win a piece of history? Each lap will see $100 up for grabs, which will be split among the top-3 drivers including $50 to the leader of each lap, $30 for the 2nd place driver, and $20 to the driver running in 3rd. With 100 laps on tap, there is a potential prize pool of an additional $10,000.
All lap sponsors will receive a limited edition Ron Silk trading card featuring a race used piece of sheet metal from his #16 modified embedded into the card. Lap sponsors will also be entered into a drawing with one lucky winner taking home a used race-winning door from Silk’s modified that will be autographed by the driver.
“The past few seasons have been a lot of fun putting together the lap sponsorship program and we think the 2025 Lap Sponsor trading card will be even better,” explained Stafford GM David Arute. “We are changing it up a bit, as this year we will be including a race used piece from the Ron Silk Haydt-Yannone #16 race car. On top of that everyone that purchases a lap is going to be entered to win a race winning door signed by Ron Silk. I’m excited to see what everyone thinks of the cards.”

Slated for April 26th & 27th, the NAPA Spring Sizzler® will once again mark the biggest Modified race of the year and the official start to the 2025 race season at Stafford.

The NAPA Spring Sizzler® kicks off on Saturday, April 26, with feature events for the Late Model, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock divisions, along with SK Light qualifying duel races that will set the field for an extra-distance 30-lap feature event on Sunday, April 27.
Sunday, April 27, will play host to the 53rd Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler®. Filling out Sunday’s racing card will be qualifying and feature racing for the SK Modified® division, the 30-lap SK Light Modified feature, plus the NAPA Pit Party.
