BROOKFIELD, NY – Back to Brookfield.
On Wednesday, June 11, the historic Brookfield Speedway roars back to life on the Madison County Fairgrounds with the second scheduled auto racing event of the 2025 season. The first program took place on Monday, May 26 with the ‘Fast Cars & Freedom’ special.
Event No. 2 at the quarter-mile oval is headlined by the Scenic View Campground Sportsman vying for a $700 top prize after 25 laps. Sportsman follow Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco rules, with American Racer (38 or harder right-front, 44 or harder left-rear, 48 or harder right-rear) or Hoosier (D300 or harder) tires permitted.
Also on the docket: Anderson Towing & Recovery Pro Stocks (Fonda/Utica-Rome/DIRTcar rules, American Racer or Hoosier tires), Abrams Press Allstar & Junior Slingshots and White’s Welding Four Cylinders (Fonda/Utica-Rome rules).
A reminder to Four Cylinder teams: thanks to White’s Welding, the top two Dual Cam drivers will receive $200 and $100, respectively, while first two Single Cam drivers receive $125 and $75, respectively.
Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Adult grandstand admission is $15. Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40. Kids 11 and under pay $10.
Brookfield hosts monthly stock car racing events through the month of October.
