FONDA SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES MAKE-UP FEATURE DATES FROM JUNE 28

FONDA, NY – Following a rain-shortened program on June 28 during Shepherd Communication & Security Fan Appreciation Night, Fonda Speedway management has set a schedule of make-up features.

The remainder of the June 28 program will be completed as follows:

·        Saturday, July 5 – Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks

·        Saturday, July 12 – Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds

·        Saturday, July 19 – Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman

·        Saturday, August 2 – Remaining rounds of the Bill Ag Memorial Modified Elimination Race

Racing continues at the Track of Champions this Wednesday, July 2 with the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Firecracker 50 presented by Holmes & Kugler Towing.

STSS Modifieds are set for 50 laps and $7,776 to win in Round No. 2 of the HYTORC of New York North Region. STSS Sportsman will compete for $1,776 to win in a 30-lap main event, Round No. 2 of the Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. North Region. Sportsman will also take part in a special, 6-lap Holmes & Kugler Towing Slow Down, Move Over Dash.

Also on the program: Online Performance Parts/Stone Motorsports Street Stocks and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.

Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
