NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour points leader and four-time series champion Justin Bonsignore returns to competition this Saturday night at Lancaster Motorplex. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to New York oval for the Nu-Way Auto Parts 150 at 8:30 p.m., live on FloRacing.TV.
Bonsignore has been to Lancaster Motorplex before and been successful. Although Bonsignore hasn’t won there in three starts there, he has top-four finishes – including a second, third and fourth. Bonsignore has also qualified inside the top-three in all.
“Lancaster is a tricky track to find everything you need in the car,” Bonsignore said. “It creates a challenge for the drivers to get up on the wheel and find the grip. There is a busy stretch of racing on the Whelen Modified Tour coming up. Our 51 team has been working hard to prepare and we’re looking forward to visiting the fans in upstate New York.”
The schedule for race day at Lancaster Motorplex includes NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour practice from 5-6:10 p.m., followed by qualifying at 7:10 p.m. and the green flag for 150 laps at 8:30 p.m.
