MANAGEMENT REMINDS EVERYONE OF 7 PM START TIME

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The track champions will be crowned this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway!

An entire season of hard work, determination, thrilling racing action, fierce competition, great driving skills along with great fun and family entertainment for the fans, will all culminate with the crowning of the T.P. Trailer Modified and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman champions this Saturday, September 13.

Grandview Speedway will be presenting another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series racing event featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds, the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, and the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars, in a program that will be sponsored by Advance Auto Parts, the title sponsor of NASCAR’s Weekly Series.

The show will include qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and a 15-lap main event for the Vintage cars.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:45 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

It will be Advance Auto Parts Night at the races this Saturday following last Saturday night’s weather postponement, when Advance Auto Parts was to sponsor the evening’s race program.

Advance Auto Parts held a special on site store event in Boyertown, Pa. last Thursday night promoting their night at the races, with a meet and greet with drivers Ryan & Logan Watt, as well as giveaways and free tickets to Grandview Speedway’s upcoming race event.

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone who was given free admission tickets to Grandview Speedway from last Thursday’s Advance Auto Parts store event, those tickets will be good for and honored for admission this week only to Saturday night’s racing program.

Saturday night’s program will also see the final monthly fan participation Trivia night contest, where questions about Grandview Speedway racing will be asked, and fans will be able to win some cool prizes, race tickets, t-shirts, or gift cards. The trivia night contests continue to be very popular again this season!

The chase for the T.P. Trailer Modified championship has been going back and forth between several drivers over the last several weeks, with four different drivers leading the points since late July.

Early on it was a back and forth between Brett Kressley and Mike Gular, until Kressley’s untimely injury put him out of action, then Duane Howard jumped into the point lead, before Jared Umbenhauer took his turn for one week at the top of the standings.

All contenders seem to have good weeks and some not so good weeks which have really kept things close and interesting heading into the point finale, with Duane Howard now on top of the standings by 160 over Mike Gular, 180 over Louden Reimert, and 204 over Jared Umbenhauer, with a maximum of 310 points possible for any one driver and a minimum of 10 points, it will be a nail biter to the end.

The current top fifteen in points for the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds are 1. Duane Howard – 3631, 2. Mike Gular – 3471, 3. Louden Reimert – 3451, 4. Jared Umbenhauer – 3427, 5. Logan Watt – 3309, 6. Craig Von Dohren – 3171, 7. Eddie Strada – 3015, 8. Brett Kressley – 2955, 9. Jeff Strunk – 2881, 10. Ryan Watt – 2604, 11. Doug Manmiller – 2388, 12. Cody Manmiller – 2188, 13. Ryan Grim – 2052, 14. Tim Buckwalter – 1977, 15. Craig Whitmoyer – 1963.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division is exactly the opposite, as Colin Cox, who is in his first season as a regular at Grandview Speedway, cannot be overtaken since he has built up an unbelievable 874 point lead over Mike Schneck Jr. entering the final point night, which will make his night much more relaxing!

Other positions in the top ten are still up for grabs, so action will be intense in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman entering the action on Saturday, with Kenny Gilmore, Dylan Swinehart and TJ Mayberry looking to hold on to their top five positions.

The current top fifteen in T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman points are 1. Colin Cox – 3871, 2. Mike Schneck Jr. – 2997, 3. Kenny Gilmore – 2985, 4. Dylan Swinehart – 2777, 5. TJ Mayberry – 2757, 6. Brett Gilmore – 2753, 7. Gavyn Krupp – 2678, 8. Jesse Landis – 2539, 9. Addison Meitzler – 2496, 10. Teague Miller – 2428, 11. Nathan Mohr – 2369, 12. Adrianna Delliponti – 2028, 13. Brett Grim – 1975, 14. Decker Swinehart – 1961, 15. Brad Brightbill – 1902.

The Freedom 76 weekend of racing will follow Championship night, starting on Friday September 19 with the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Freedom 38, to be followed by the 55th annual T.P. Trailer Modified Freedom 76 on Saturday, September 20 starting at 7 pm.
