HIGHLY COMPETITIVE 2025 SEASON WITH THIRTEEN DIFFERENT MODIFIED & TWELVE DIFFERENT SPORTSMAN FEATURE WINNERS
GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY TO HOST ONE MORE ENDURO & VINTAGE RACE EVENT IN 2025 – 2026 SEASON OPENS ON APRIL 4
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The 63rd anniversary season of auto racing action at Grandview Speedway for the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman concluded this past weekend with two exciting and action packed racing events during the Freedom 76 weekend of racing.
However, racing is not quite over yet this year, as this Saturday, September 27 will feature another program with the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Cars along with the Xcel 600 Modifieds, Slingshots and the Pro 4 Racing Series Four Cylinder Stock Cars in action starting at 5 pm. Pit gates open at 1 pm., Grandstand gates open at 3 pm. Grandstand admission will be $10, with children ages 12 and under admitted for free. Pit admission is $35 for the Outlaw Racing Series event.
The 2025 season for the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds was brought to an exciting conclusion this past Saturday night with the running of the 55th annual Freedom 76 Championship race which was won by Eddie Strada, who scored his first ever win in the prestigious event and second ever Grandview Speedway feature win, having previously won just three weeks earlier in a regular point racing event on August 30.
Strada was involved in a great three driver battle for the top spot early in the race, which at one point became a five driver race for the lead, securing the lead on lap 40 in the 76-lap Championship event, then withstood some serious pressure at various times in the second half of the race from Jared Umbenhauer and Danny Bouc to score the victory.
For the win Strada picked up $30,063 in purse money, a $1000 bonus from the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series of which Grandview Speedway is a part of for weekly action, another $1000 bonus from the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series for being a track regular, a Bob Hilbert Sportswear Custom Winner’s Jacket, Penske Racing Shocks Certificate, and $2480 in lap prize money for a total of over $34,800!
The entire evening was a spectacular night of competitive racing action from start to finish, as 54 race teams participated in six qualifying heats, two consolations, a GT Radiator Repair cash dash and the Schaeffer Motorsports Minuteman 20 leading into the Freedom 76 lap Championship feature finale for the 2025 racing season.
Duane Howard was officially crowned the 2025 T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified Grandview Track Champion one week prior on September 13th, capturing his 7th career point title at the track. Howard scored the point title on the strength of 1 win, 9 top five finishes, and 14 top ten finishes in 17 events on the season.
The remaining drivers completing solid seasons in the top five positions were Louden Reimert, Mike Gular, Jared Umbenhauer and Logan Watt.
The entire 2025 season of T.P. Trailer Modified racing was competitive from beginning to end, as thirteen different drivers reached victory lane. It was so competitive that no driver was able to win more than twice, with Jeff Strunk, Logan Watt, Ryan Watt and Freedom 76 winner Eddie Strada all scoring two victories.
Single feature winners included Brian Hirthler, Brett Kressley, Chris Esposito, John Willman, Duane Howard, Jon Kellner, Justin Grim, Tim Buckwalter, and Jared Umbenhauer. Of the many different winners, Logan Watt, Eddie Strada and Justin Grim were able to get their first ever Grandview feature wins.

It was also an awesome final night of action for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, as a huge field of 62 drivers arrived for competition and participated in eight qualifying heats, three consolations, a Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate cash dash, and the Patriot 20 – B main leading into the Freedom 38-lap Championship feature race.
Addison Meitzler scored a thrilling photo finish victory at the line with a last lap, last turn pass of Jesse Hirthler, after the two drivers exchanged the lead numerous times during the final twelve laps of the thrilling 38-lap Championship feature event.
The victory for Meitzler, his third of the current season was worth a base pay of $2063, and included two bonuses from the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series of $500, and a second $500 for being a track regular, along with a Penske Racing Shocks certificate, Dan’s Deli certificate for leading at half-way, a custom made Winner’s Jacket from Bob Hilbert Sportswear, and $392 in lap money, bringing his total winnings to $3780 for the feature victory.
Colin Cox was officially crowned T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Champion on September 13th, capturing the championship in his first season of competition at Grandview. Cox won the Opening Night feature and never looked back, leading the points all season long, and ended with an unbelievable winning margin of 1012 points. Cox finished the year with two wins, 12 top five’s, and 15 top ten finishes in 17 events.
Following Cox in the final point standings were Mike Schneck Jr., Kenny Gilmore, Brett Gilmore, and Gavyn Krupp.
For the 2025 season, twelve different drivers visited the winner’s circle in the T.P. Truck equipment Sportsman division led by Meitzler who scored three wins. Colin Cox, Jesse Landis and Joey Vaccaro each scored two wins, while Lawson Szerencits, Ryan Graver, Shannon Slaughter, Brett Gilmore, Kenny Gilmore, Parker Guldin, Dylan Swinehart and Mike Loney all scored one win each.
Of the twelve drivers reaching the win circle, Cox, Vaccaro, Szerencits, Slaughter, and Loney were all winners for the first time in their career at Grandview.

A final wrap up on the Friday night Freedom 38 T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Championship, saw several bonus awards paid adding up to $3262 along with lap money totaling $1877, for a grand total of $5139 in extra prize money for the competitors. Some final totals for the bonus and lap prize money for Saturday night’s Freedom 76: Duane Howard led laps 1-38 and collected $1862 in lap money, while Louden Reimert led lap 39 for $20, with Eddie Strada leading the remaining laps 40-76 and picked up $2480 in lap prize money to add to his earnings! The bonus money for the Freedom 76 totaled $6125 and combined with the lap prize money of $4362, the total extras for the race came out to $10,487!!! THANK YOU once again to everyone who helped make the 2025 Freedom 76 weekend a successful one!
Grandview Speedway management has announced that the 2026 64th anniversary season of professional auto racing will open with the traditional Free-to-the-Public Open Practice on Saturday, March 28, followed by the season opening Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker for Modifieds plus 602 Sportsman on Saturday, April 4.
