NEW EGYPT, NJ – Record Breaking.

For the seventh time in his illustrious New Egypt Speedway career, Ringoes, N.J.’s Ryan Godown was crowned Modified champion, setting the all-time record at the Central Jersey oval.

Godown entered the night two points behind Pipersville, Pa.’s Danny Bouc in pursuit of the record-breaking achievement.

The pair shared the sixth row at the drop of the green flag for their 30-lap main event, but it was Godown who marched through the field on his way to his fifth win of the season and seventh career title.

“The initial start I got bottled up, but then I was able to make the top work,” Godown said of his drive to the front. “I just knew I had to go all out for 30 laps.”

“You get to 200 wins, I never thought that would happen, and now this,” he exclaimed of his seventh title. “I tried to keep everything the same this week, I think I did a pretty good job of mentally preparing for the day.”

The win, and championship, cap off a banner regular season for the Ringoes, N.J. native, which saw him collect his 200th career win, be inducted into the inaugural New Egypt Speedway Hall of Fame class, and now his seventh career track championship.

The championship breaks a tie with Frenchtown, N.J.’s Billy Pauch for the most Modified titles of all-time.

New Gretna, N.J.’s Paul Mancini came home in the runner-up position, matching his best finish of the 2025 season, with Wrightstown, N.J.’s Davey Sammons completing the podium finishers.

Danny Bouc finished in fourth, ultimately coming up eight points shy of his second career New Egypt Speedway title in his Craig and Leslie Pondish owned No. 6.

“Danny had a hell of a season,” Godown said of Bouc. “He’s a great competitor and I know he’ll be back right in contention again for a lot of years.”

Frenchtown, N.J.’s Billy Pauch Jr. completed the top five.

Finishing sixth through 10th, respectively, were Hamilton, N.J.’s Johnny Bangs in the Fred Vahlsing owned No. 323; Phillipsburg, N.J.’s Jack Butler; Sayreville, N.J.’s Dominick Buffalino in the Kevin Vaclavicek owned No. 3v; Upper Black Eddy, Pa.’s Jim Housworth; and New Egypt, N.J.’s Joseph Brown.

In Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman competition, it was Ryan Heim winning the race, with Steve Davis coming out on top of the championship battle.

Heim raced his way from the 11th starting position, with just one caution flag, to pick up his third win of the season.

Heim, of Parkertown, N.J., raced by Beachwood, N.J.’s Stephen Puglisi Jr. with just five laps remaining to pick up the win.

Meanwhile, Cream Ridge, N.J.’s Steve Davis picked up the 2025 Championship with an 11th-place finish in the finale.

Davis entered the night 19 markers ahead of fellow Cream Ridge, N.J. native Ryan Simmons.

Simmons ended his night in the seventh position, gaining eight points on Davis, coming 11 markers shy.

The Championship was Davis’s first career in the Crate division, and his second overall at New Egypt Speedway.

Bedminster, N.J.’s Mike Butler came home in second after starting in 13th, with Matt Ellery, David Miloszar, and Puglisi completing the top five.

Taunton, Mass. star Mick D’Agostino made the long tow worth it each Saturday, picking up his third Northeast Wingless Sprints (NEWS) championship in the last four years.

D’Agostino entered the night just needing to take the green flag in order to clinch the championship, but that wasn’t enough for D’Agostino.

Mick picked up his fourth win of the season, slipping by Brendan Hires on lap 13 to take the lead and ultimately set sail with the win.

Hires, Stan Ploski III, Heidi Hedin, and Joey Crilly completed the top five.

In Xtreme Diesel Performance (XDP) LLC., Street Stock competition, Rob Ormsbee collected his second career Street Stock title and fourth overall at New Egypt Speedway.

Ormsbee won the race and needed Pat Force to finish third or worse in order to win the title. Force came home sixth, giving Ormsbee the top honors.

Ormsbee started the race in fourth and was in the lead by the conclusion of lap three.

From there Ormsbee could only hope his competition held off Force, which they did, setting Ormsbee up for the championship.

Darren Cox, Chris Lane, Scott Freed, and Chris Allen Sr. completed the top five.

Trenton, N.J.’s Joe Garey Sr., joined Godown, D’Agostino, and Ormsbee as champions to seal the deal with wins on championship night.

Garey held off a hard charging Bobby Drayton III to pick up the win.

Garey entered the night with a healthy advantage over Drayton, despite not winning a race all year.

That changed on championship night, keeping Drayton at bay to claim the win.

The title for Garey was the fourth of his career and his first since 2020.

Drayton came home second, with Kyle Hurley, Dale Mull, and Bobby Drayton IV completing the top five.
