USAC EAST COAST SPRINTS JOIN NASCAR MODIFIEDS & SPORTSMAN ON ADVANCE AUTO PARTS NIGHT SATURDAY AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

START TIME MOVED UP TO 7 PM FOR SEPTEMBER SATURDAY EVENTS

BACK AND FORTH MODIFIED CHAMPIONSHIP POINT RACE SEES DUANE HOWARD BACK ON TOP, COLIN COX TOPS SPORTSMAN

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series will join the weekly stock car action to kick off a busy month of September this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

Grandview Speedway will be presenting another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program this Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds, the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, and the only visit of the season by the USAC East Coast Wingless Sprint Cars.

The show on Saturday, September 6 will be sponsored by Advance Auto Parts, the title sponsor of NASCAR’s Weekly Series, and will include qualifying events for all classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and a 25-lap main event for the USAC East Coast Sprint cars.

Track management is reminding everyone that for the Saturday night races in the month of September, the starting times will move up one half hour.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, Sprint car engine starts at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:45 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $25, students 10-15 with ID are $15, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Prior to the Advance Auto Parts evening of racing, there will be a special meet and greet event held on Thursday, September 4 at the Advance Auto Parts store at 801 East Philadelphia Ave. Ste A in Boyertown, Pa. from 5 until 7 pm.

The event will include a meet and greet with Boyertown drivers Ryan & Logan Watt who will be on site with their race cars and available for autographs. There will also be a DJ, food truck, and giveaways from Advance Auto Parts. Fans will also have the opportunity to win tickets to the upcoming Freedom 76 at Grandview Speedway, persons must sign up and be present on site to be eligible to win.

This past Saturday night Eddie Strada scored his first career T.P. Trailer Modified win at Grandview Speedway, becoming the season’s thirteenth different winner in the division, which has also seen an unbelievable see-saw battle for the track point championship.

The point leader entering the night was Jared Umbenhauer, however he was involved in an accident early in the feature and did not finish, so he has fallen to fourth in the standings, while Duane Howard scored a sixth place finish and has moved back on top of the point standings by 160 over Mike Gular who scored a tenth place feature run to once again sit second in points, and Louden Reimert who has now advanced to third in points, just 180 behind leader Howard.

Logan Watt made a dramatic run from 22nd to finish fifth in the feature becoming the race’s Hard Charger, and sits fifth in the standings entering this week’s upcoming program.

Joey Vaccaro scored the win in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature for his second victory of the season last Saturday night after a great battle with Addison Meitzler, Teague Miller and late race charger Gavyn Krupp.

Colin Cox has built an insurmountable point lead of 874 points after charging from 26th place to a fifth place feature finish last Saturday, while Mike Schneck Jr. continues to sit second in points after making a 27th to tenth place feature run last week.

Kenny Gilmore sits third in points after an eighth place feature result, while Dylan Swinehart moved to fourth in points despite not making a top ten finish after having to make a mid-race pit stop, with TJ Mayberry sitting fifth in points after also missing out on a top ten run last Saturday night.

The final night of points racing and the crowning of the 2025 track champions will occur on Championship Night on Saturday, September 13, in a race program featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman joined by the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars starting at 7 pm.
