ALLENTOWN, PA – The roar of Indoor Auto Racing is set to return to Pennsylvania as the Ironton Global Allentown Indoor Auto Race takes over the PPL Center this January 9 and 10.

The highly anticipated event, will kick off the 2026 Indoor Auto Racing Series for the ninth consecutive year.

Allentown will feature two nights of intense, headlined by the TQ Midgets, a specialty-built tubular racing frame with a 750cc lightning quick Motorcycle engine; with a total weight of 850 lbs. – including the driver – you have a rocket ship on wheels. The Slingshots and Champ Karts complete the program on a tight, thrilling indoor track constructed on the arena floor.

Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster beginning Wednesday, October 29 at 10am, with exclusive pre-sale access opening Friday, October 24 at 10am.

Two Nights of Heart-Pounding Indoor Racing

The Allentown stop has consistently delivered some of the most intense racing on the circuit, with top drivers battling inches apart inside the state-of-the-art PPL Center home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Last year, Ryan Flores continued his Allentown dominance racing from the 12th starting spot to win Friday night’s main event. On Saturday night, series champion Andy Jankowiak, known as “Andy J” broke through with his first Allentown event win, despite a late challenge from Flores, who accepted the Ironton Auto Body Challenge after his Friday night triumph and elected to start from the 10th position.

This year’s schedule calls for a complete program of the headline TQ Midgets division both nights, with the Slingshots and Champ Karts also in action both nights. A special Friday night dash for the TQ Midgets is in the works to kickoff the weekend with a bang!

Lower level reserved ticket holders for Saturday night’s event will gain access to special pre-race Fanfest. Attendees will get the opportunity to tour the race track, meet the drivers and the cars up close before racing action kicks off at 7pm.

The Indoor Auto Racing Championship brings together the greatest racers in the region to compete in auto racing events indoors. Whereas most races take place on specific race tracks, the Indoor Auto Racing Championship events take place on the cement floor of the arena. Combining all of the exciting short track racing action – fierce competitors, high speeds, passing, bumps, crashes and flips – intensifies them and puts them in easy view of spectators, with the amenities of modern sports, concert, and event facilities.
