EVANS MILLS, NY – The holidays just got sweeter as schools have let out for Christmas break and Northern Lights, the north country’s driving holiday light experience is opening it’s doors every night until New Year’s Day. Northern Lights at the Evans Mills Raceway Park will now operate 5:00pm-9:00pm every night from December 21, 2025 through January 1, 2026.
General Manager Nick Czerow commented, “we understand how busy the holidays are and we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience some holiday cheer with us. Our show is a driving experience where you don’t have to get out of the vehicle but we do have some spots to park and take photos like our 30ft. tall Christmas tree on the patio. We’re proud of what we were able to expand on this year including adding a quarter mile to the driving path, and including custom built displays. There’s even a brand new display entering the show this week!”
Tickets for Northern Lights are $20 per car load and may be purchased online or at the show from the cottage. When you arrive to Northern Lights, you’ll be greeted by a member of Team EMRP where we will help you tune to Z93 (93.3 FM), hand you our program full of activities and greetings from our partners, a brand new air-freshener for your car, and tell you which partner will be gifting you a complimentary second lap through the show that night.
Northern Lights is currently celebrating its fourth year in existence with the help of presenting partners; the Bob Johnson Auto Group in Watertown and Pulaski and NBC Watertown. The show has expanded each year by adding new displays.
Czerow continued, “now that we are four years in, we really see how it’s become a tradition for many. We see familiar faces this year and even had our first marriage proposal next to our Christmas tree on the patio, and she said yes! We’re truly thankful for all of our partners that help make this a reality for the north country and grateful for all the people that come to experience it.”
As we prepare for a busy week at Northern Lights, Team EMRP is already putting plans together for 2026 and will return to refurbishing current displays and building new ones during the racing offseason.
