WEST LEBANON, NY – Anticipation is building for the first-ever visit by the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco to the legendary Lebanon Valley Speedway on Thursday, May 21.
The ‘King of Spring’ event will include the STSS Modified HYTORC of New York North Region (40 laps, $7,000 to win) and STSS Sportsman Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. North Region (24 laps, $2,400-plus to win).
The ‘Valley of Speed’ inks its place in series history as the 40th different facility to host an event.

Brett Haas, a Lebanon Valley Speedway regular who formerly competed on the Short Track Super Series, has filed the first Modified entry for the event.

STSS Modifieds will compete for $7,000 to win and $700 just to take the green flag in the 40-lap feature event.
The Mesothelioma Warrior Alliance has posted a $500 Hard Charger Award for the STSS Modified division.
STSS Sportsman battle 24 laps for a $2,400 top prize ($1,500 from the posted payout, $900 in bonus money) in the ‘Refuse 2 Lose’ event in memory of Bobby Chalmers. Currently, $1,406 in lap money and an additional $1,412 in addition cash for all feature finish positions has been raised for STSS Sportsman competitors.
