Fonda Speedway May 9 Program Canceled; $1 Grandstand Admission May 16

FONDA, NY – Rain showers throughout the day and cool temperatures led to the cancelation of Saturday’s (May 9) Cobleskill Collision Night at Fonda Speedway.

The decision was made Saturday morning in the interest of fans and competitors.

The 50-lap Enduro scheduled for May 9 has been postponed to May 16.

All pre-purchased May 9 tickets and infield reservations will be refunded through My Race Pass (refunds are processed on Tuesdays).

Attention now turns to Saturday, May 16 when Metro Ford of Schenectady presents Dollar Night with $1 Grandstand Admission. Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman, Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders will be joined by the 50-lap Enduro on the program.

Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

Grandstand admission is just $1. Kids 11 and under are FREE.

Infield Drive-In admission is $30 and includes four passes.

Pit Admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members) and $10 (Kids ages 11 and under).

The Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing for 75 seasons. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
