(Minersville, PA 6-1-26) Big Diamond Speedway has just wrapped up the first two months of racing with eight consecutive shows and will be looking to extend that streak this coming Friday evening, June 5, with another action-filled night of dirt track racing at the 3/8-mile oval.
And fans will be treated to a full slate of all regular divisions and more as part of Moyer’s Body Shop Night. On tap will be the BQ Concrete 358 Modifieds along with USS Achey Inc. 602 Crate Sportsman, Big Creek Concrete Rookie 602 Crate Sportsman, Red White and Blue Autos Inc. Roadrunners plus a 50-lap Big Car Enduro at the conclusion of all regular features.
And to add even more thrills there will be the Moyer’s Body Shop and Auto Sales Roadrunners Challenge Race taking place during intermission and will consist of the top-10 drivers in points in head-to-head matchups.
The current points leader, Mike Reichert, will open the Challenge Race by selecting one of the other nine drivers for a one-lap showdown. The winner advances to the next round and picks the next opponent. The winning driver also gets to choose whether to start on the inside or outside lane.
Each match winner will receive $25 and $225 goes to the driver who wins the final match.

Pit gates will open on Friday at 5:00 pm with grandstands at 5:30 pm. Hot laps start at 7:00 pm followed by racing. Pit admission is $35 for Big Diamond Speedway members and $45 for non-members. Adult general admission is $20, students 10-15 are $10 and kids 9 and under are free.
The following week, Friday June 12 is Foran’s Transmission & Auto Repair Night, which will see all four regular track classes running plus a $500-to-win Burnout Contest. To register for the Burnout Contest please send your name, address and vehicle information to dlmo@ptd.net.
