- The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway for the first time in nearly 35 years
this Saturday for the running of the All States Materials Group 150 starting at 6:15 p.m. ET on FloRacing. The event is
the sixth race of the 2026 season. - Saturday’s race is the first event for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Oxford Plains Speedway since June 23,
1991, when Jeff Fuller found Victory Lane in the Goody’s 200. - In all, Oxford Plains Speedway has hosted five previous NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events. Winners have
included Fuller, Richie Evans, Jimmy Spencer and Mike McLaughlin. Spencer is the only multi-time Modified Tour
winner at Oxford Plains with two victories. - Austin Beers continued his historic streak of top 10 finishes last Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway. His seventh-
place finish marked the 35th consecutive top 10 finish for Beers dating back to the 2024 season. - In 75 career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events, Austin Beers has only finished outside the top 10 during 16
events. That means he’s finished in the top 10 in an astounding 78.66 percent of all Modified Tour races he’s
competed in. - Stephen Kopcik enters Saturday’s event as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour points leader. He holds a 10-point
advantage on Austin Beers through five of 16 races on the schedule. - A handful of drivers entered in Saturday’s race at Oxford Plains Speedway have previous experience at the track.
They include Matt Hirschman, Jon McKennedy and Anthony Nocella, who have earned victories at the track in other
divisions. - Austin Beers is the only driver to finish in the top 10 in every event so far this season. Three additional drivers –
Stephen Kopcik, Patrick Emerling and Jon McKennedy – have finished in the top 10 in four of the five races held thus
far. - One team that competed in the first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Oxford Plains Speedway in 1985 will also
compete in Saturday’s race. That team is Boehler Racing Enterprises, who will compete in the All States Materials
Group 150 with driver Tyler Rypkema at the wheel of the Ole Blue No. 3.;
