BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Enough already.
After heavy storms rolled through the Berks County region Friday evening, causing downed trees and power lines, resulting in some sections of area roadways leading to Grandview Speedway to still be affected, more heavy storms were predicted around race time Saturday evening causing the cancellation of the race event scheduled for Independence Day July 4 at Grandview Speedway.
The night’s program was to include the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds and Sportsman plus the Low Down Throw Down One-on-one Modified Match races.
Attention will now turn to next week as Grandview Speedway will be presenting another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts program featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds, with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman participating in the 56th annual Firecracker 40 Championship race, plus a Cash Dash sponsored by Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate.
The show on Saturday, July 11 will include qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature, the 40-lap Championship feature race for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, plus the heat winner’s Cash Dash.
Saturday’s program will also feature another fan favorite Trivia night, where fans can win prizes after correctly answering questions about Grandview Speedway racing.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $25, students 10-15 with ID are $12, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Grandview Speedway’s official Track Photographer Steve Sabo (SDS Racing Photography) has posted a bonus of $400 to the winner of the Firecracker 40, along with the posted purse of $2000, bringing the total to $2400 for the win in the Sportsman championship race!

The following Saturday, July 18 will be Back to the 90’s Night sponsored by T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, featuring just $10 grandstand admission for a complete show of T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and Sportsman, along with the Dave Smith Memorial for the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars starting at 7:30 pm.
Since the 1960’s, Grandview Speedway has been presenting exciting wheel to wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday Night starting in April and running through October, plus special events.
