BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – A busy month of August race schedule continues with two racing events this weekend at Grandview Speedway.

On Friday night pit gates will open at 2 pm, and grandstand gates will open at 5 pm. Grandstand admission is $10, children ages 12 and under are admitted free, while pit admission is $35 for the Friday event.
Grandview Speedway will then present a NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts racing program on Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds and Sportsman.
The show on Saturday, August 22 will include qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature and a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Saturday’s program will also feature another fan favorite Trivia night, where fans can win prizes after correctly answering questions about Grandview Speedway racing.
Saturday’s program will also see the Hyde & Read Mobile Bookstore set up in the turn one area of the grandstand. Hyde & Read Mobile Bookstore is a new and unique experience for your next event! This includes wineries, bridal showers, Bachelorette parties, breweries, community days and so much more! We have new and gently used books, bookish merchandise and more! If you love books, stop by and visit them Saturday night!
In addition to the racing action this Saturday night, prior to the racing program will be the weekly meet and greet, presented by Low-Down Entertainment and hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer. This week’s drivers who will be on hand with their cars will be Kyle Smith, Adrianna Delliponti, Teague Miller and TJ Mayberry.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the grandstand main gate area from 5 to 6 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers in person, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway. Also included in the Meet & Greet will be Little Miss Grandview Alaina Steigerwalt with crayons and coloring pages for the kids!
Also on Saturday night, everyone will have a chance to own a piece of Grandview Speedway history as the LDE Meet & Greet team will be selling tickets for one lucky participant to win the official LDE Meet & Greet banner prominently displayed during each Meet & Greet.
The 2’x 4′ banner is emblazoned with the M&G logo and has been signed by every driver and special guest that has participated in the M&G’s this year. Tickets will be $5 for an “arm length” and $10 for a “wingspan” to participate.
100% of the ticket sales will be added to the Cash Dash purse for the Freedom 76er. Stop by the Low-Down Entertainment M&G and talk to Jennifer Umbenhauer or Brittany Huber for tickets. The drawing will take place at the final M&G of the season Saturday, September 12 on Championship night.
