EMRP Honors First Responders with Memorial Stair Climb, Parade, and Box Car Racing!

EVANS MILLS, NY – The Evans Mills Raceway Park continues their 2026 campaign this Saturday August 22nd with the annual First Responders Night Presented by S&R Automotive LLC located in Mannsville and Sandy Creek. The evening will begin with the 2nd annual Memorial Stair Climb organized by Harry Faulk Jr. at 4:00pm where participants will completed five laps up and down the TJ Toyota Tower in honor of friends, family, and fallen first responders in remembrance of their sacrifice, bravery, and memories. People interested in climbing in support may contact Harry Faulk Jr.

The Midway will once again be packed with First Responder vehicles organized by Kevin Warren offering an incredible touch-a-truck event for kids and families in attendance.

A special race car panel raffle will be hosted in the midway raising funds to support Travis VanKoughnett’s medical bill and progress. Race car panels are graciously donated by Tony Pettinelli, Kaden Rogers, Bryan Sherwood, Kyle Hart, and Dylan Bancroft. Rt. 37 Building Supply has also donated a prize.

After heat racing is completed, box car racing for kids will take place on the front stretch. Kids may sign up at the main gate to participate. Following box car racing will be the First Responders Vehicle Parade on the track.

To complete the night, feature racing will take place with the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour, Kinney Drugs Modifieds, Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends, LaFave Motor Sales Crown Vics, Stewart’s Shops Sport Compacts, and Excess Storage Thunderstocks.
