BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The battle for the championships is getting really close with two point races remaining at Grandview Speedway.
The show this Saturday, September 5 will be another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts program that will include qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature and a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman.
Track management is reminding everyone that for the Saturday night races in the month of September, the starting times will move up one half hour.
Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:45 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
The final night of points racing and the crowning of the 2026 track champions will occur on Championship Night on Saturday, September 12, in a race program featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and Sportsman joined by the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars starting at 7 pm.
The 56th annual Freedom 76 weekend of racing is fast approaching, with the Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship set for Friday, September 18, and the Freedom 76 Modified Championship set for Saturday, September 19, with a rain date of September 26.

Those wishing to camp at the Speedway for the Freedom weekend of racing please note: All campers & tents must be parked and set up in the fourth turn area only, while campers can begin to enter the grounds in the fourth turn area on Saturday, September 12 and remain there until the 19th. However, because there are no hookups, sleeping in the campers can only take place on September 17-19.
The Freedom 76 weekend begins on Friday, September 18 with the 13th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship. The race program will follow the Freedom 76 race format with qualifying heats, consolations, Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate $500 to win cash dash, the Patriot 20, all leading up to the 38-lap Championship feature event, plus practice time for 358 Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.
Friday’s program will feature grandstand admission at just $5, while children ages 9 and under will be free of charge.
On Friday, pit gates open at 3 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, drivers meeting at 5:30 pm, with the pill draw following the drivers meeting. Warmups are at 6:15 pm, and racing will start at 7:30 pm. Pit admission on Friday is $40, and no license is required. There is no rain date for the Friday event.
Saturday, September 19 will feature the 56th annual Freedom 76 358 Modified Championship. The program includes qualifying heats, consolations, GT Radiator Repair $1000 to win cash dash, and the Schaeffer’s Motorsports Minuteman 20, all leading up to the 76-lap Championship main event.
On Saturday pit gates open at 9 am, for car inspections, fans will be able to enter the Grandstand areas between 9 am, and 12 Noon to reserve seats with blankets, with grandstand ticket windows opening at 3 pm. Pill draw for position is at 4:30 pm, with the drivers meeting at 5 pm, warm-ups are at 6 pm, with racing starting at 7 pm.
Adult Grandstand tickets on Saturday will be $40, students 10-15 with ID are $20, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission will be $45, and no license is required. There will be no advance tickets sold for this event, and the rain date is Saturday, September 26.

With the race to the point championships heading into the final two races, things have really tighten up at the top of the standings following last Saturday night’s program.
The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature saw Craig Von Dohren join the three win club this season with Saturday’s feature win.
Point leader Eddie Strada just missed out on a top ten run for only the third time this season, but remains in the point lead with a smaller advantage, while Logan Watt picked up a fourth-place feature run and moved back into second position in points, while Jeff Strunk had an eleventh place feature run and sits third in the standings.
Anthony Perrego scored a ninth-place feature run and remains fourth in points, while Rick Laubach scored an eighth place feature finish and holds down fifth position in the current standings.

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman point standings really tightened up with several positions changing after last Saturday’s program, as Addison Meitzler charged from fourteenth starting spot to his second win of the year and moved to second in the current standings.
Colin Cox also put on a charge from fifteenth to third in Saturday’s feature and has now moved back into the point lead, while Joe Toth had a rough night being involved in a mishap and restarting at the back of the field, keeping him from a top ten run to slide to third in the current standings, with the top three now only separated by 35 points.
Teague Miller raced from twenty-eighth starting spot to twelfth at the finish to hold down fourth in points, while Jesse Landis missed out on a top ten run after starting in twenty-seventh spot.
