LUCAMA, NC: (September 24, 2026) Tickets for the 24th Annual North-South Shootout at Southern National Motorsports Park are on sale now, giving fans their first opportunity to reserve their place for this highly anticipated annual event, with racing action set for Saturday, November 7.
In addition to general admission tickets, fans will have several options for experiencing the North-South Shootout, including trackside parking spots and a limited number of suite tickets and suite rentals.
General admission for Saturday’s racing program is $30, with senior, military and student tickets available for $25. Tickets for children ages 6–12 are $15, while children five and under are admitted free. A Family 4 Pack, which includes two adult general admission and two children’s tickets, is available for $80.
There are plenty of ways to enjoy the action on the high banks of Southern National Motorsports Park. Trackside parking spots are available for $45; the trackside fee covers parking only, and each occupant of the vehicle must also have a valid general admission or pit pass. Full suite rentals are available for $750 while individual suite tickets, priced at $50, will go on sale at a later date based on availability.
Camping spots without hookups are available for $85.
“There’s been a lot of anticipation surrounding the North-South Shootout coming to Southern National, and opening ticket sales is another big step toward race weekend,” said North-South Shootout owner Chad Kepley. “Whether you want to watch from the grandstands, get a trackside spot or enjoy the event from a suite, we want fans to have different ways to be part of the weekend.”
The North-South Shootout will make its Southern National Motorsports Park debut in 2026, bringing one of Modified racing’s longstanding traditions to the high-banked North Carolina oval for the first time.
Saturday, November 7 will be highlighted by the 125-lap Tour-Type Modified feature with a 32-car starting field. The racing program will also include 602 Modifieds, Vintage Modifieds, Legends, Chargers and Any Cars.
Saturday’s schedule begins with rotating practice at 10:00 a.m. Grandstands open at 1:15 p.m., followed by single-car qualifying beginning at 1:30 p.m. Fans will have an opportunity to meet the competitors during the North-South Shootout autograph session from 3:15 to 4:00 p.m., with feature racing beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Friday, November 6 will be dedicated primarily to competitor activities, including registration, technical inspection and optional practice for the Modified divisions. One- and two-day pit passes are available, with two-day passes priced at $90 for non-licensed attendees and $70 for URA/INEX licensed attendees. One-day pit passes are $50 for non-licensed attendees and $35 for URA/INEX licensed attendees. Pit passes for children ages 6–12 are $40 for two days or $20 for one day, while children five and under are admitted free. Minor release forms will be required.
