LANCASTER, N.Y. (May 20, 2023) – Due to saturated grounds, management of Lancaster Motorplex made the ultimate decision to cancel the racing program scheduled for Saturday, May 20. The rain that fell overnight on Friday and into the first half of the day on Saturday, as well as the cool temperatures has made it unfavorable to dry the track and pit area in a timely manner.

Stock car racing action continues at Lancaster on Saturday, June 10 for the annual running of the Sportsman 50 for the Monroe Extinguisher Sportsman. The Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, and the Mighty TQ Midgets will all be in competition. Also, on tap will be the King Wolf Productions Big Wheels! Kids aged 3-12 can sign up at the picnic tables in the main concourse when gates open and race during intermission. Pit gates will open at 2:30pm, grandstands open at 4:00pm, and racing will begin at 6:30pm. Grandstand admission is $25 for adults, with seniors (65+) and Veterans (with ID) $20, and kids 12 and under will be admitted FREE. Pit admission is $40 for members, and $50 for non-members. Crew admission for the pits is $40.
