NASCAR Hall of Famer and former NASCAR Cup Series champion Bobby Labonte will be back with Sadler-Stanley Racing this Saturday evening.

Labonte is set to wheel the Pace-O-Matic No. 16VA in the Revolutionary 99 for the SMART Modified Tour at Caraway Speedway. It will mark Labonte’s first SMART start of the season, but he is very familiar with the Modified ranks and the entire Sadler-Stanley Racing team.

Labonte is a former multiple-time winner on the SMART Modified Tour. He captured the victory in the Revolutionary 99 at Caraway in 2024, coming out on top of a chaotic night at the track.

“Bobby is a proven winner, and truly an all around major asset to racing at many levels,” team co-owner Hermie Sadler said. “We are happy to have him back in a Modified, and appreciate everyone at Pace-O-Matic for helping to make it happen. There is no better way to celebrate America other than some exciting groundpounding Modified racing.”

Labonte adds his name to a list of stout contenders who have been behind the wheel of the “all-star” No. 16VA Pace-O-Matic Modified this season – a list that includes former NASCAR stars like Jamie McMurray and Elliott Sadler down to the rising stars of the sport like Carson Hailslip and others in between.

The SMART Modified Tour returns to racing on Saturday, July 4, with the running of the Revolutionary 99 at Caraway Speedway. The event is scheduled to begin around 8 p.m., and will air live on FloRacing.TV.
