Adam and Rebecca Stewart have confirmed the next race weekend on June 8th and 9th at Mountain Creek Speedway will be the Whelen Doubleheader Weekend of wing and non-wing micro sprints. Two 30 lap features are on tap for 600 micro sprints who wish to compete in both races on Sunday June, 9th. The micro sprints have been the newest and most exciting added division to the track this season which have provided edge of your seat racing each time the cars compete.
“People have been asking for a while about doing a winged race.” Said, track owner and promoter, Adam Stewart, ‘This event is our closest event to Fourth of July so we figured to have a special event that also represents our new sponsor Whelen Manufacturing.” Along with two features for the micro sprints, Saturday, June 8th, flat kart racing will have a special 50 lap predator 375 race for $300 to win as well as the regular points classes. Gates open at 3pm Saturday with practice beginning at 5pm. Sunday gates will open at 11:30 for the the junior wing kart classes with practice beginning at 2pm. Load in for the 600 Micro’s and senior wing kart classes will be 4pm with practice beginning at 6pm. Pit passes are just $10 with kids 6-12 just $5 and ever ticket is a pit pass!

All weekend events can be watched streamed live on www.mountaincreekspeedway.tv When the track isn’t racing, it’s busy Monday through Friday with testing and practice sessions for everything from flat karts to national midgets. The track will also be available for testing and practice days throughout the year.
