VERNON, NY –
 Utica-Rome Speedway roars into Labor Day weekend with a pair of events set for Friday (Sept. 1) and Sunday (Sept. 3).

A-Verdi Storage Containers presents the Friday program, featuring a Kids Backpack Giveaway and a full program to include 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, Fonda Fair Four Cylinders, Senior Services Inc. Allstar Slingshots and Junior Slingshots.

For the Pro Stocks, Four Cylinders and Slingshots, Friday’s event will be the last points-paying event of the season.

The remaining divisions will be decided on Sept. 8.

Gates open on Friday at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Friday Grandstand Admission: $15 (Adults) – $13 (Seniors ages 65 and up) – Kids 11 and under FREE

Friday Pit Admission: $40 (Non-Members ages 13 and up) or $35 (NASCAR or Utica-Rome Member) – Kids (ages 6-12): $10 – Children (ages 5 and under): $2

The highest-paying Modified event of the 2023 season at Utica-Rome Speedway takes place on Sunday (Sept. 3) with the New Yorker 50 presented by Moteloc LLC, Scenic View Campground and Picture Perfect Pools & Spas.

The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco invades for Ollie’s Elite Series Event No. 2 and River Valley Builders North Region Race No. 9. The 50-lap event pays $12,000 to win, $2,000 for 10th and $1,000 to take the green flag.

The entire New Yorker 50 pay structure follows: 1. $12,000; 2. $6,000; 3. $3,500; 4. $2,800; 5. $2,500; 6. $2,300; 7. $2,200; 8. $2,100; 9. $2,050; 10. $2,000; 11. $1,600; 12. $1,400; 13. $1,200; 14. $1,100; 15. $1,050; 16-24. $1,000.

Also on the Sunday program: Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Senior Services Inc. Allstar Slingshots and Junior Slingshots.

Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

Grandstand Admission: $30 (Adults) – $28 (Seniors) – Kids 11 and under FREE

Pit Admission: $50 (Non-Members ages 13 and up) or $45 (NASCAR or Utica-Rome Member) – Kids (ages 6-12): $10 – Children (ages 5 and under): $2
