N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) officials are excited to announce a big puzzle piece in the 2024 schedule for the North Woodstock, New Hampshire speedplant. The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series is making its much anticipated series debut on the highbanked quarter-mile on Saturday, July 27 just one week before the 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 for the American-Canadian Tour on Saturday, August 3.
White Mountain Motorsports Park has long held a strong reputation as a secret honey-hole for Modified racing. Everything from open-wheeled Pro-4 and PASS Modifieds, the Modified Racing Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour have visited New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track, with teams consistently placing it’s dynamic grooves as a favorite among the regional speedways.
While Saturday, July 27 will mark the first visit for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series at White Mountain Motorsports Park, it comes after a meteoric rise to the top of Tour-type Modified competition. Having just celebrated their tenth season in 2023, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series features the Cream of the Crop in ground-pounding Modified competition.
In the last season alone, top young-gun aces Ronnie Williams, Matt Swanson and Jake Johnson took checkered flags while ‘Big Money’ Matt Hirschman closed out the season with three consecutive wins and the series title. Hirschman was one of the most vocal supporters for the Modifieds at White Mountain during his visits with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2020 and will certainly be among those looking for the series’ first win at the North Woodstock oval. Top dogs Woody Pitkat, Chris Pasteryak, Austin Beers, Kirk Alexander, Doug Coby and Ron Silk also joined in on the ultra-competitive series this past season.
“We’re very excited to host the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series at White Mountain in 2024,” said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’ve worked with the Tri-Track folks at Thunder Road and with the American-Canadian Tour, they are second-to-none and always put on a great show. We’re glad to offer our fans that show and welcome their fan-base to see what great racing we have to offer every Saturday night.”
White Mountain Motorsports Park has wrapped up the 2023 stock car racing season. The annual Banquet of Champions will celebrate the top runners of the 2023 season at the Littleton Elks Club on Saturday, December 2. The rest of the 2024 Schedule of Events and updated rule books will be out by Thanksgiving.
