WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic ATQMRA fueled by VP Racing Fuels returns to Wall Stadium Speedway this Saturday, April 20th.
Defending champion Buddy Sload will be one of the favorites in a field of fierce competitors this weekend. Paul Dodorico Racing will look to continue their string of dominance this weekend. Coming off a victory at Turkey Derby 50 with Ryan Tidman, PDR returns to Wall Stadium this weekend with Jeff Kot behind the wheel of the #99 TQ Midget. Kot and Dodorico are batting .1000, winning in the duo’s only attempt at Wall Stadium last fall.
Brianna Page will be performing double duty this weekend. Not only will Brianna be in her familiar #76 TQ Midget, but Brianna will make her stock car debut in Wall Stadium’s sportsman’s division as well.
Tyler Wagner and Josh Patterson will look to invade the ATQMRA this weekend from the East Coast TQ Midgets wingless division. Thanks to series collaboration with scheduling, expect to see Wagner and Patterson often in 2024. Patterson will be competing for rookie honors.
2022 Rookie of the Year Zack Burd returns this season, after focusing on his sprint car campaign in 2023. Burd returns as a driver in 2023, after returning as an owner at Turkey Derby in November. Billy Pauch Jr. was behind the wheel at that event.
Series regulars Kyle Taraska and Tyler Ferris will be chasing Buddy Sload this year for the overall championship. Taraska, the 2022 ATQMRA Champion, is looking to get back on track to earn his second title in 3 years. Ferris, who finished third in points last season, will look to earn his first feature win and championship honors in 2024.
Series veterans Mark Yoder and Steve Craig will be competing in the field this season as well. Yoder and Craig will look to improve on their respective 5th and 6th place championship results last season, competing for championship.
Riverhead standout Chris “Cookies” Coleman will be competing this weekend, kicking off his sophomore campaign in TQ Midgets.
Series partners Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic and Precise Racing Product return for the 15th consecutive season. VP Racing Fuels remains the presenting sponsor of the ATQMRA.
Hamer Heating and Cooling returns for the Wall Stadium Hometrack Shootout. For the second consecutive year, a Wall Stadium Speedway and overall series champion will be crowned.
For this weekend’s ticketing information, visit wallstadiumspeedway.com. Grandstands gates open at 4:00 PM. Qualifying will take place at 5:00 PM with main events taking place at 7:00 PM. The Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic ATQMRA fueled by VP Racing Fuels will kick off the season of racing as the first scheduled feature.
