– Race of Champions Sportsman Modified; Super Stock; Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series and Wilbert’s U-Pull It Super Six and Wilbert’s U-Pull It Four Cylinder Divisions Friday, May 31, 2024  –

Williamson, N.Y. – (May 21, 2024) – There is a great deal of anticipation surrounding the 69th annual Season Opener at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, NY on Friday, May 31.

The Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series will highlight the night with a $2,000-to-win, “Fast 40” event. 40-laps of competition for one of the most competitive divisions in the region.

Kevin Timmerman of Williamson, NY., is looking to return to victory lane at his home track where has won before, has been close in recent years, however has not been able to “close the deal” in recent years.

“We always look forward to going to our home track,” stated Timmerman. “It’s always great to be there and around our friends. Racing at Spencer just feels good to us. We are looking forward to getting going this season and making the most of it.”

The Race of Champions Super Stock; Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series along with the wild action of the Wilbert’s U-Pull It Four Cylinder and Wilbert’s U-Pull It Super Six Series will also join Friday the card for the 69th Annual Season Opener at Spencer.

The “Food Truck Frenzy” featuring local food trucks and tastes from the area will also make its return with some unique additions. In addition to standard fare from the Ontario Volunteer Fire Department, there will be BBQ truck joining us as well as an Ice Cream truck along with the Williamson Apple Blossom Festival selling fried dough and more, along with the new addition of a popcorn truck

Open practice takes place this Friday, May 24 for all divisions with gates opening at 4:00 pm and practice running from 5:00 pm until dusk.
