N. Woodstock, NH — After once again spending the majority of the week mulling over continuously bleak weather forecasts, White Mountain Motorsports Park officials have cancelled the planned night of racing on Saturday, June 29. With increased chances for rain set to roll into the Pemigewasset Valley mid-afternoon and last well into Sunday morning, the chances of getting in both the planned card of racing and the Northstar Fireworks display came into question.

With the blanket storms forecasted to drop heavy rains from Saturday afternoon into late Sunday morning, White Mountain officials saw no hope in holding out. The Little Webb’s 350 Supermodified Series has been added to the Saturday, July 20 program while the Northstar Fireworks display has been tentatively moved to Saturday, July 13 to cap off Midseason Championship night.

“It just doesn’t seem to end,” said White Mountain managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’re happy to report that we’ve rescheduled both the 350 Super Series and the Northstar Fireworks for the coming month and we’d like to thank them both for working around the weather with us. We’re on to next Saturday.”

White Mountain Motorsports Park is back in action on Saturday, July 6 headlined by the Independence Day 76 for the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers as Round #2 of the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown Series! The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division make it a full house of racing at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track next Saturday night, July 6; Post Time is 6:00pm.
