(Butler Township, PA 7-2-24): Racing during the month of July at Evergreen Raceway will be filled with a variety of motorsports action.
First up will be this weekend, July 6-7, when Evergreen Drift Presented by Sinister Drift Team takes to the track. Sinister Drift Team works on the basis of a “Grass Roots” drift event. Drivers of all skill levels are welcome. For anyone who has not been to a drifting event at Evergreen, there are a pair of layouts simultaneously all day long to get drivers the most seat time possible. On Friday evening, July 12, it will be Driver Appreciation Night presented by The Wire Guys of Hazle Township, a division of Arc Electric.
The first 50 drivers who sign in will receive complimentary passes thanks to longtime track sponsor, The Wire Guys. On the schedule will be the 602 Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks and Four Cylinders.
Additionally the feature winners of the 602 Crate Modifieds and Street Stocks will earn a guaranteed starting spot for the DCR Performance XMR Sportsman Modified and Midstate Basement Authorities Dave London Memorial XVI Super Stock Race events taking place Friday and Saturday, August 30-31, at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY.
On Saturday, July 20, the newly launched Evergreen Raceway 2-Seater Ride-along will be giving fans the opportunity to get buckled into an authentic Late Model race car as a passenger and experience real race conditions against other cars. The 2-Seater rides will be held throughout the day.
The following day, Sunday, July 21, race cars are back on track featuring a 4/6-Cylinder Gut-N-Go Enduro, the Rotten and Forgotten, Legends, Bandolero’s and the JuiceBox Division. Racing begins at 2:00 pm. And the Novice class has been added to the docket also.
The paved 1/3-mile oval will close out the month with another Friday night under-the-lights show on July 26. The Late Models will be back in action that evening and joined by the Street Stocks and Four Cylinders. Racing will begin at 7:00 pm.
