(Stafford Springs, CT) — For the 10th consecutive season, Maybury Material Handling of East Longmeadow, MA, will be a first-place contingency program partner at Stafford Motor Speedway. Maybury will present a weekly bonus of $150 to each SK Modified® winner and a $150 bonus to each SK Light feature winner during the 2025 season. With both the SK Modified® and SK Light divisions each having 22 races on the schedule, Maybury will contribute a total of $6,600, with each division having a winning driver’s pool of $3,300. Maybury Material Handling will also serve as the title sponsor of the August 29 Back to SKool Night Kids Night.

“We’re happy to be involved with Stafford Speedway and to be a part of the contingency program for another season,” said John Maybury of Maybury Material Handling. “We love Stafford Speedway and are excited to be supporting both of their modified divisions as well as Kids Night. We’ve been involved at Stafford on and off since the ’80s, and racing has always had a special place in my family, so we are pleased to be able to support Stafford’s modified drivers who share that same passion.”

The 2024 season was one of the most competitive in the history of the SK Modified® division, with 12 different drivers reaching NAPA Victory Lane over 20 races. Of the 12 different winners, only four drivers—Michael Christopher Jr., Cory DiMatteo, Troy Talman, and Andrew Molleur—won more than once. Christopher led all drivers with four wins, followed by DiMatteo and Talman with three wins each, and Molleur with two wins. Single-event winners included David Arute, Steven Chapman, Mikey Flynn, Tyler Hines, Todd Owen, Jon Puleo, Keith Rocco, and Marcello Rufrano. Chapman, Flynn, and Talman each won their first SK races during the season.

The SK Lights had only eight different feature winners over 20 races, but that was in part due to Tyler Chapman tying a division record with 10 wins. Nickolas Hovey won three times, while Chris Matthews won twice, making them the only other drivers besides Chapman to win multiple races. Single-feature wins were scored by Robert Bloxsom III, Josh Morrison, Alexander Pearl, Brian Sullivan, and Amanda West. There were also three first-time winners in the SK Light ranks this season, with Bloxsom, Morrison, and West all making their first trips to NAPA Victory Lane.
